LIn Search of Steven Spielberg is a delightful coming-of- age
story and homage to everyone’s favorite director Steven Spielberg.
The movie follows four teenagers trying to make their own
“great movie” to win a contest. Along the way, the young
filmmakers learn several lessons as they overcome various
obstacles in humorous fashion. The kids get into all kinds of
trouble and precipitate lots of Keystone Cops hijinks. Its young
adult comedy theme is reminiscent of movies such as The
Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off with a Super 8 feel.
